Welp. This is eye opening.
In this world, where rules have stopped applying and no one enforces them.

Serbia will probably eliminate Kosovo. I consider it almost a done deal coz no one will intervene at this moment.

Will Turkey go after Cyprus? & if Turkey takes Cyprus–will it also go after the rest of Greece?

Humanitarians are still trying to understand the impacts of a sweeping expansion to the so-called “global gag rule” on US funding. This is a must-read interview with Sarah Shaw and Beth Schlachter of MSI Reproductive Choices.
Q&A: What next for humanitarians and the global gag rule?
The global gag rule will hit US humanitarian funding for the first time. Health advocates warn of chaotic responses and over-compliance – and highlight what to prioritise.

I am Canadian but may I suggest that the next Democrat running for the presidency ought to be one determined to hunt down, prosecute and convict EVERYONE involved in this fascist regime. Find the money they stole and restore it. Plug the loopholes, install guardrails.

Josh Johnson is hilarious and also braver than Chuck Schumer & Democratic "leadership".
This is a very powerful video from comedian Josh Johnson. Not just because what he says that's meaningful. But because it shows an emerging trend that high profile people have finally started speaking up, despite concerns it might alienate their followers.

It is time to choose sides.

The Hollow Boys by @tariqashkanani.bsky.social is a chilling, razor-sharp novel that creeps under your skin and refuses to let go. A carefully crafted portrait of small-town America, thick with dread and humidity, where the worst has happened. Unforgettable, beautiful and bleak.

I see we’re all watching the news and some of us are again wildly missing all the points and fixating on ASL interpreters doing their jobs. ASL is a language and facial expressions are part of it. If it bothers you, look away. You know, the way you do when the state executes citizens on the street.

Not a problem, Italy should just refuse US athletes entry into the country. They won't, but I for one, would not condemn them if they do.

The IOC Refuses To Ban U.S. Athletes From Winter Olympics Following Military Move In Venezuela
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) is shutting down any talk of banning the United States from the upcoming 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy. Following a high-stakes U.S. military operation in Venezuela earlier this month, critics and politicians from around the globe began calling for the U.S. to face the same sporting sanctions currently being dealt to Russia. However, the IOC made it clear that American athletes are not on the chopping block. In a statement released to BBC Sport, the committee stood by its mission of neutrality, insisting that the Olympic arena is no place for political warfare. “In a world shaken by conflict and division, the International Olympic Committee stands firm in its belief that sport must remain a beacon of hope, a force that brings the whole world together in peaceful competition," the statement read. "This is at the very heart of the Olympic Movement and derives from the Fundamental Principles of Olympism.” The push to penalize Team USA comes after reports surfaced that U.S. forces successfully captured dictator Nicolás Maduro and toppled his regime in a surprise move that has divided international opinion.  They explained that as a global organization, they have to manage a "complex reality" at every edition of the Games. “The IOC cannot involve itself directly in political matters or conflicts between countries, as these fall outside our remit. This is the realm of politics," they continued. "Our role is to ensure that athletes can participate in the Olympic Games, no matter where they come from.” Despite the noise from international commentators, the IOC has confirmed that no action is being taken against the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee.

US vetoes most Ethiopian athletes for the World Crosscountry Championships in Florida by denying their visas. Ethiopia will be unable to record a team result in either the U20 men’s or U20 women’s races, ending its 44-year medal streak.

I’m sure the Olympics and World Cup are going to be fine. 😡
