So I was at Fair’s Fair warehouse in #yyc today and found a 2nd hand copy of #tincancanucks signed by the author (me😁) on the shelf. That it was going for $9–1/2 the cover $—says something about its resale $ I guess; but at least 1 more person will get a chance to read it now!

We can argue about nuances but at the heart of #socialist #ideals should be this: we believe people should be able to survive regardless of their financial circumstances. I’d go so far as say people should be comfortable no matter their financial circumstances.

Just finished reading this. It's a damning article where neither the hospital nor the doctor it dismissed come off looking good. What I find most disturbing through is this cult of personality Weiner fostered about himself & weaponized against the hospital & his colleagues. Deeply unethical IMO.

I just drove by a restaurant names “Happy Lamb Hot Pot”. I’m unable to conceive of a reality where the lamb in that restaurant is happy with any expected outcome 😁

I absolutely HATE fiddly masking, especially around deck fittings. MOST especially when, despite all the care and attention in the world paint leaks under or the mask or the mask lifts up just enough to allow under spray. 🤬 It’s my idea of #scalemodeling hell 😈
