It's wild to me the way EBU set the voting with "do you support the new rule changes OR do you support Israel's exclusion?".

also: THERE IS NO "APOLITICAL" OPTION HERE. the choice to include israel is just as political as the choice to exclude them. do not the ebu, the broadcasters, or ANYONE ELSE convince you this decision was about politics. it's about morality, and even more than that, money.
if you care more about "neutrality" and including ONE country that has been a menace to the contest in the past two years than the participation of 4+ countries who have been in the contest since the beginning with minimal issue, it was never about neutrality. fuck the ebu.

i could not be happier about nemo winning in 2024 but this is also one of the best performances in recent eurovision history and i wouldn't have been mad if ukraine won twice in the span of three years

Feel like banning this rogue state from Eurovision and int'l football should be an extremely low bar to clear at this point.
This is such a flagrant violation of every principle of international law and sovereignty that it’s hard to actually believe even when we definitively know it is true (and even when it is consistent with all other behaviours).

considering how hard the juries and televoters disagreed this year (austria was the only country that was in both the jury and televote top 5s) i think jury haters need to realize the reason the jury winner keeps winning is because there's no filter in the semis anymore. bring back juries 🫶
