The day the Daily Mail says Labour has got it right is the day Labour has got it wrong. So far so good, then!

It feels like malign Russian influence is everywhere. But we need solid evidence to tackle it effectively. An inquiry like this would be a useful start to the process.

PFIs are short-term thinking packaged up as an answer to our NHS's long-term future. Tie a bow around a pile of pooh, and it's still a pile of pooh. If Streeting is serious about his own ambitions, he'll see sense and rule them out.

I once lent my DVD of North by Northwest to a friend, telling her it was my favourite Hitchcock. "Sexist rubbish" was her verdict. I prefer to think of it as portrayed here: an incredibly stylish, confident and involving film, made by a craftsman on his top form.

Shows that radical left-leaning policies that prioritise ordinary people are popular and win elections. I hope the lesson is not last on Labour's leaders.

I agree, everyone should stop using Facebook and Instagram. But they make it really difficult to delete your account.

This is why everyone should avoid these Meta products - Facebook and Instagram. But they deliberately make it hard to cancel accounts. This is something decent governments should be taking action on.

As a country, we need to do two things to solve the water crisis. Firstly, we need more and better micro management of water. The other thing is the water companies should be taken back into public ownership. They are shipping vast sums to their shareholders, rather than investing in our future.
