He's so easily swayed. It's another one of those traits that would make him very funny on a show. You'd have a bit with him screaming about he doesn't WANNA meet the communist and then instantly clicking with him when he walks in.

I can't tell with her anymore. She might be a desperate grifter and trying to sound insane, in which case she's very good at it, given her beliefs now verge on open flat eartherism.

That movie wasn't the norm then, just like wild and weird movies aren't the norm today. No edge lost, at least not on that front.
