there’s a wiiiiiide range of temperatures that people feel comfortable opening their kilns, I’ve heard tell of opening at 700+ degrees, but this is just terrifying to me - I usually sneak a peak around ~450 but wait for the mid three hundos before I fling that thing (open)

It was also during the time just after the video store and closed their porno section, so I’m 16 with nuns in front of me and men on the phone inquiring about porno availability, it was a wild time to be forming a personality, lol
