I have one, I don’t use it a *lot* (only bc it’s a faff and I’m undisciplined at making myself do the parts of this I don’t actually enjoy) but it is good.

I did lay the groundwork for needing to be unconscious for the operation, and he wasn’t against it, so that’s one good thing. Hopefully anaesthetist will be as accommodating. Bc truly, my fight/flight cannot be trusted in an operating theatre when my legs still work.

Predictable. Surgeon was p relaxed about it, no mention of risks whatsoever! But I am well aware of them, I don’t like them one bit, but see no alternative.

Also it probably won’t get any better, functionally, just HOPEFULLY won’t get any worse.

Anyway I need surgery and I’m miserable about it. I’m “semi-urgent” because they don’t want me waiting 8 months with deteriorating. They estimate 4-6 months 😂
