The candle holders that’ve so far been fired, in all their forms. I don’t often keep pots these days, but two of these are staying with me. My mum bought another two as gifts.

I just added these pieces to my online shop! If you’re looking for gifts, have a look around.

Full load from the tiny kiln today :)

Here is my completely non-grown up one! These may be for sale if I can get enough light to photograph before my mum decides she wants them as gifts 😆

Look at my current favourite glaze, it’s so grown up, and so smooth. We landed on ‘Tumbled Riverstone’ as a name which I think was an amalgam of two or three different suggestions

This lovely big vase is ready to go but there is NO daylight to take proper photos. All studio glazes, gonna be a combination I use again, for sure.

Some of the items currently for sale in my online shop. All handmade, wheel-thrown stoneware and all utterly unique, one-off pieces.

Various candle holders made in the community studio over the last couple of weeks. All I’ve been able to manage with this nerve issue, but it’s something. VERY rugged bottoms, avoiding repetitive movements meant no fettling. Now, how to glaze them…

I have put some pieces on sale on my website. I’ve also lowered the postage slightly to absorb some of the cost on single items, making everything a little cheaper for the holiday gift season. 🎊 UK shipping (sorry!)

She knows it’s time to get up and she doesn’t want to AT ALL so she’s pretending she can’t see/hear anything

I couldn’t tell which picture you meant, but assuming this one, it’s a recipe by John Britt originally I think called Spearmint Green. Here it’s on a buff clay body and fired to probably ^8-9. Blue where thicker.

My wheel-thrown stoneware chess set is finished! #pottery

Each piece was thrown as a blank on the wheel, off the hump, then carved/turned individually.

It’s not currently listed for sale on my website, because it took *so* long I’m not sure anyone would pay what it would be worth selling it for.

I have a couple of small, decorative bowls up on my shop. It’s not just vases and lidded jars! I am hoping for a handful of sales before the end of the year, just to keep me going in supplies & space on my shelves ☺️ #pottery #ceramics #lgbtqmaker #independentartist

Funny you should say that… this is how the other one is listed in my shop!

So I’m practising. But also I get bored quickly so I’m doing some Other Stuff to them when they’re not quite right. Not sure how these will dry, whether I’ll keep them, but it’s cool to play

Notes from the studio! I’ve made a bunch of vase shapes lately and I recently made THIS which is a form I love. I’ve come close to replicating it but haven’t been able to nail it exactly yet. (The streaks are where some iron settled out in the clay bag; I’m a big fan, if I knew why I’d do it again)

I just posted this to IG and realised I never showed the finished vase here. Made and bisque fired a single leaf stamp, carved the vines. Couldn’t be happier with how the glaze has settled on this piece. Is up for sale on my website, I hope someone loves it. #pottery

One of the fern pots sold, but there is one left.

This is another vase from my latest restock. Art Deco inspired, tape resist work. Little bit in love with the little point that dips below the line at the front.

Opening this up to the floor #pottery . It’s a semi-matte, silky smooth to the touch and reminds me of marble or polished stone.

It’s been like six hours since my massage and I already look like this. Someone should be paying ME
