I like Doctor Who, running, Freak Zone music, and the Scottish Green Party, and I love my cat Marvin and my wife Helen.

It's so weird when she turns round there, because her hair blends with the spacescape and it looks like she's some kind of cyborg medusa without a human head.

Yes. Lovely to see some of the new generation of actors I've been enjoying on TV for the last couple of years in it.

The less petulant and angry older me greatly appreciates the story, and also its novelisation, which Toby Longworth reads beautifully. (I've now incidentally met and meaningfully conversed with or interviewed five of the cast.) I don't think I actively dislike any Doctor Who serial now.

I remember a Blue Peter feature on early Baird TV which thrilled me with wondering what “The Man With The Flower In His Mouth” could possibly have been about.

Just for this autumn. I'm building speed so that when I start marathon training for April 2026 this December, my base easy pace is that bit faster. For 5K I switched to doing everything in km, but when I flip back to marathon training, I'lll revert to miles.

Yes. They’re a fantastic pairing, and I’ve loved putting them at the end of a running playlist.
