1,173 people were shot dead by "law enforcement" in the USA last year.

In the UK, it was 2.

The US population is 6x that of the UK, so go ahead and multiply the second figure by 6.

Then explain to me why this massively disproportionate rate of killing is so.

Hopeful to see.

But we also know what really matters is how people vote.

Hey.

Sorry for not posting here much, everyone had a Good Xmas and New Year's.

I know not many local D&Gers follow me here, but if you missed it, my petition to revive the 74 worked.

After 4 and a half months of persistent communication, it was announced as revived on the 23rd December.

I seem to be living rent free in their heads!

The 50 wealthiest families own more wealth than the bottom 50% of the population.

How can this Labour Government say this is a "cost of living" budget and refuse to tax the rich?

They care about protecting power and wealth. And cost of living is a buzz phrase for them. Dire.

Remember: There is nothing natural or inevitable about extreme inequality; it’s the result of an economic system that values wealth and power over human dignity and justice.

It doesn't have to be this way.

Phillips is completely snookered by @zackpolanski.bsky.social by knowing his history and explaining it clearly and concisely and in enough detail to snuff out Phillips' attempted Culture War attack.

That's congestion off ours streets, pollution out our air, and money back in people's pockets.
