@wiltshiremuseum.bsky.social Really enjoyed today’s talk: 100 years of Woodhenge. It would be so interesting to know more about the work of Maud Cumnington ( Not least how the early women archaeologists managed to dig anything encumbered by the long skirts they were expected to wear back then!)

She did grow up on farm yet mysteriously can’t milk can’t drive the tractor didn’t know pip nor Josh all I think is that Mulligan was an Amish convert and she was in the house sewing canning and home schooling 🤔 #TheArchers
