They don’t visit Ambridge now Shula’s in Sunderland, I expect. #thearchers
Not sure what I remembered was entirely correct….
It’s got more umph than Abide with me. Abide with me used to be sung before the Cup Final - the words used to be printed on a sheet along with other more singalong lyrics. Whereas Guide me O thou great redeemer is sung at Arms Park. ( Ummm how have I got on to this??) #thearchers
There’s a story that he went shooting and brought back a bear cub - “ Teddy’s bear.” The story was picked up by the press and I believe there was a photo of the president with the bear cub. #thearchers
So what was the point of the Gills? I wonder what the S/Ws originally intended for them, and why they changed their minds? #thearchers
Ok so I have to agree that the dialogue is much more punchy but I’m not sure about the s/l. #thearchers
Well we have heard of her before , but even so her inclusion now is all a bit random. Maybe someone wants to introduce a new bunch of potential characters? #thearchers
It’s the improbable accent. For me it really grates.
I don’t think I can bear to listen to Esme. #thearchers

Wouldn’t it make more sense for Ruari to sign up for a course at Cirencester or somewhere similar? ( AndI know I can’t spell his name correctly……) #thearchers
Hallowe’en seems to have gone from an e’en to what is more or less a season. #thearchers

We're pleased to share that, from spring 2026, we will take on the care and management of the museums, buildings and monuments that represent the birthplace of the industrial revolution within the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site in Shropshire.
It used to be funny and clever especially when people like Sue Perkins and Sandi Toksvig were on it. Now it’s just an excuse for a few comedians to waffle.
