I didn’t know they were airing in Mexico. The first time I heard one of the ads was on a Spanish language radio station my neighbor listens to when he’s cooking outside (I’m in the Bay Area). It was so jarring and wrong in this context, in Mexico it must be surreal to hear that.

Agreed. On both points. It’s good to include the nuance of things like your example of Nazi art that go beyond “I do not like this” to demonstrably harmful.

This whole train of thought. I’ve never understood the extrapolation of “I don’t like [this thing]” to “[this thing] shouldn’t exist.” You’ve excellently articulated the frustration with that thinking.
