the thing that upsets me about this the most is that Dems had all the momentum, republicans were reeling, and we were getting intra-GOP fighting over the filibuster, all while voters were blaming republicans for their incompetence

this destroys all of this. just a total gut punch

They couldn’t let us bask in the joy of victory for even 1 week.

All they gave us was 5 days. Couldn’t even get us to a week of being hopeful. All that goodwill and joy and happiness that maybe the Democratic Party really can do something right, all of it tossed in the trash pile. Sigh…

Easy way to tell that this senate vote passage was orchestrated by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer? The 8 Democrat (and 1 Ind) votes needed to get the 60-vote passage were all democrats NOT up for reelection in next year’s midterms:

GET RID OF CHUCK SCHUMER. EVERY DAMN TAKE, MOVE, TURN, AND FLIP HE MAKES IS A GODDAMN FLOP.

Another day, another truly terrible move by Democrats to just rip my heart out and fail to do everything they can to save social programs for the majority of Americans who need it. I DESPISE our 2-party political system, and the inability of democrats to HOLD THE DAMN LINE. I’m so damn heart-broken.

Had a coworker last week who was saying she hadn’t seen RWRB, only read the book because prime wasn’t in her budget and the swiftness in which I asked for her phone so she could watch on my account 😂. She got back to me today with a dissertation of the movie and everything she loved 😂😂😂

this was for a colorado measure guaranteeing universal free lunch for kids. funny how a short two-column table can say so much in so little space.
This is how it looked on the ballot.
Clear and easy to understand.
