We-r-Nomad was one of the first kinksters who hit that exact combo of anime-inspired-western-art-plus-gentle-damsel-in-distress who did exactly what I needed in the moment when I found them on Deviantart.

Damn, really sorry to hear that; I'm very glad I got to work with John on the EMPOWERED: ANIMAL STYLE one-shot lo these many years ago. IMHO, best mecha artist in US comics (while being similarly skilled with character work, I hasten to add) and always an erudite delight to talk to.

Learning that We-r-Nomad passed away hurts a lot - Apparently John passed away earlier this month. A light has gone out in my life. He will always, always be missed and loved.
I'll have more to say eventually. He was a brilliant soul and amazing artist.
