Thank you, Julius! If I reconstruct this correctly (I remember that you asked me about own research initiatives on the BSW), part of our motivation for contributing a paper to research on BSW voting actually emerged from the podcast.

The takeaway is that the declining faith in politics and institutions may be in part to the lack of socio-economic diversity amongst political elites.
