Keep thinking about this term "pre-digested" that Kojima used to describe art that's instantly gratifying. And how it's better when people grow to love something instead.
I've gravitated, as player and designer, toward the latter, but that term "pre-digested" is new and feels very strong.

I didn't realize the Hachiko statue was sculpted while Hachiko was still alive, and that, in fact, Hachiko was there at it's unveiling.

biggest challenge of making a shooter pointedly inspired by 90s-00s bungie isn't getting the guns feeling good or enemies feeling reactive, it's finding combinations of words with even half the sauce of "The Silent Cartographer" or "The Pillar of Autumn"
The series of words “The Silent Cartographer” is so fuckin cool. It might be the coolest thing in the history of video games.
