A moment of peace on this morning's walk ... 6 patou are in with this flock to guard against wolves (including a very gangly and friendly puppy)

So exhausted last night that we were asleep by 8, but it's so good to be home again

And we're home ... It's been a wonderful & chaotic last couple of.months, cycling from Devon back to here, then pottering around Japan, but the cases are empty, the fire is lit, the wine is open and we're about to collapse in a heap

After nearly 6 weeks in rural Japan, this is quite overwhelming

Japan left the best sunset for our last night in the campervan ... What a spectacular end to our stay
