Beautiful morning for a walk, today ... The sky really was that blue and it even warmed up enough for me to take my gloves off (just for a few minutes, after a fast walk up a long hill)

Oh that sounds perfect ... We too have a day of no plans, so are off for a walk and then tackling a growing pile of bits to see what we can put on Le Bon Coin ... Then more little wire robins to make, for Christmas presents, which I'm rather enjoying

Still seriously cold here at the moment, so we opted for a morning walk, rather than a cycle and it was really, very lovely.

A few months ago, I did a little workshop on making wire birds and recently gave one to a friend ... She sent me a photo of it on its little perch today, and it looks so lovely 😍 ... Needless to say I'm making a few more for Christmas

Yesterday was still mild, today definitely isn't, but it was a glorious morning to wrap up in layers and potter out on the bikes

And we're home ... It's been a wonderful & chaotic last couple of.months, cycling from Devon back to here, then pottering around Japan, but the cases are empty, the fire is lit, the wine is open and we're about to collapse in a heap

On our way home, just passed Lyon, and are now at the chocolate orange stage of the journey ... All being well, just over 2 hrs to go

A few photos from a long day of walking a little bit of Tokyo. We wandered through some very pretty back streets on our way from Kitazawa to Shibuya and on to the Imperial Palace & Meiji Shrine. It's certainly an experience, but reinforced that we have spent the 6 weeks in the right place for us
