I was dog sitting last week and he was suffering because there are two suspicious little animals in the house, one of whom kept stalking him. I can’t get any pics of when he REALLY looks like the lead of a Junji Ito manga because my hands were usually preventing my cat from trying to snuggle him.

It’s been a while since I last did this but charting your increases is so helpful. A+ knitting tool, especially when there’s two different increase rows.

My current favorite mug! Somehow Miss Marple’s darkly Victorian view on life and human nature fits very well with MurderBot’s general outlook. The first time she took a sip of tea and mournfully but knowingly said “human nature being what it is” MurderBot would feel *so* vindicated.

I don’t think I ever posted it here but I finished my green sweater in February and I think it turned out really cute! When I wet blocked it it grew more than the sample did but I knew baby alpaca did that so stretching was kept in mind with literally every choice I made. #finishedobject #knitting

Preparing myself to be extremely bad at something for a long time!!! But after a few tries I did create something that’s like, second cousins thrice removed to yarn so that’s exciting.
Wooden drop spindle and some wool roving in a clear plastic bag. Purple heathered roving next to a top whorl drop spindle, spindle has extremely fat “yarn” wrapped around the base.

I’ve got 4 balls of alpaca left and realistically I’m going to use at most two more on the body— should I add a hood?? Obviously the pattern doesn’t call for it but I could just pick up stitches along the neckline above the ribbing? Cozy but maybe wrong for the shape of the sweater. Hmmm. #knitting

Awww, how cute! I too have a back cat with an unusual tail— Sessue has a big kink about a third of the way down that curves, and he also has the ring tail gene so on top of that his tail is curly! When he twitches it he looks like he’s casting forgotten runes. Probably to divine dinner time…

My current distractions when not at work— if I am knitting I am not refreshing my phone constantly. The hat is Stranger Things Hat by Jennie Santopietro and the sweater is the sweater is the Very V Neck Raglan by JessieMaedDesigns— both on ravelry.

One of the great things about being an adult is you can dress like a cartoon character every single day and no one can stop you.
