For the first time playing IIDX I was playing mostly static with hand positioning and it feels so good to play now and idk how I managed that when I play it like once every like 4 months but it's fine. I kind of want to grind it for real.

Got to hang with oomfs and play a ton of IIDX and honestly when I'm ever able I want to try and make IIDX a regular thing...

The reality that the doors of possibility regarding what is possible for FFXI open so much moving forward with this and it seems like they're intent on getting rid of Playonline, making the game far more accessible than it'd have ever been as a result of the biggest barrier gone is soooo huge

Fwiw I'm still gonna try NG4 at a point and admittedly I was going to go into it like "maybe it's at least a fun character action game even if it's far detached from anything I'd want from NG" but finding out it's DMC4 wrt reusing stages, without story or any cool cutscenes to justify it is like...
