A very eloquent Clive Lewis MP highlighting that water & energy companies are charging us high prices not for infrastructure investment but to make profit.
The Reform has dropped the act, openly Thatcherite. The Conservatives are copying them to save their skins. The best way to cut support for the authoritarian right is to stand with people against profiteers in water and energy, and give real security.

Christopher Harborne is investing in the decline of Britain. He's one of the super-rich who live abroad but backed Brexit, then Boris Johnson and now Nigel Farage.
Anyone considering voting for Reform UK should now know they're siding with self-serving disaster capitalists.

Terrifying 🤦🏼‍♀️
Russian state tv is propagandizing this idea all over the place:

“Perhaps Russia and the United States will decide the fate of Europe without it. This is a very possible prospect”

Brexit ‘badly damaged’ our economy says David Lammy, the deputy prime minister also says rejoining the EU customs union would boost economic growth. More and more people are realising the sky doesn’t fall in when you tell the truth about Brexit!

Russia behind the scenes yet again … who’d have thought 🤷‍♀️
"Harborne was also a backer of the cryptocurrency Tether, which the Guardian reported last month has been found by National Crime Agency investigators to be used to help Russia fight its war against Ukraine"... No surprises there! #Russia #Putin

This is very funny.

Only yesterday Starmer was swatting away hacks at a press conference who believed they had questions to answer over it.

The mainstream media, the Tories, and Farage accused Reeves of doing something wrong, again, and were proved wrong, again.

It’s marvellous.

Mason declares that in his judgement we have been misled by Rachel Reeves.

It feels unprecedented that the BBC has made a "call" on a story, and is something that was absent throughout the terms of notorious liars such as Johnson.

There were certainly no "calls" about Brexit lies.

Plus sides to today: Two-child benefit scrapped. Largely progressive tax implications. Good market reaction. No big spending cuts. Nightmare prospect of cutting funding to net zero etc avoided. It's a left-wing budget. Those who say there's no difference between Labour and Tories are bananas.

On Truss & Kwarteng in ‘22. Allister Heath, Telegraph: “the best budget I have ever heard a British chancellor deliver". Alex Brummer, Mail: “a genuine Tory package elbowing to one side the Treasury's fiscal conservatism".
These men will now be paid actual money for their analysis of today’s budget.
