“Start building these connections now.”

The lesson coming out of Minneapolis is clear: when communities are connected, people are safer—and harder to repress. Build relationships, practice mutual aid, and don’t wait for crisis to begin.

Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom HaShoah). We remember the six million Jews murdered by Nazis and the millions of others targeted for their lived identities. Remembrance is a moral commitment in the present—to confront antisemitism and resist dehumanization.

No one's life should be at risk for simply existing in their communities or exercising their rights.

Learn these. Remember them. Share them with your neighbors.

I will continue to use every tool my office has to protect our immigrant community and ensure our residents know their rights.

For generations, Unitarian Universalists have sung our faith into being. Now that tradition is taking a new form.

Elaine McArdle explores how Sing Out Love, the UUA’s virtual hymnal, came to life—and how it’s changing the way UUs sing together.

#NewYear reminder 🌱

Hope isn’t always tangible, but it’s there:

in rivers being restored,
forests being replanted,
wildlife being protected,
and every act of care that helps a community heal.

🌿 It’s in more places than we might think.

What gives you hope?

Hanukkah reminds us that even the smallest light can guide us forward, especially when hope feels fragile. May these eight nights bring courage, connection, and renewed commitment to a more just world. Chag Sameach to all who celebrate. #Hanukkah #UU #UnitarianUniveralist #Hope

They THREW THE FOOD AWAY, the greatest of sins to my Depression Era parents. Rather than feed hungry poor people they’d rather rather trash the food.
New reporting reveals the Trump administration cut $500 million in deliveries to food banks across the country.

Food banks were expecting over 27 million pounds of chicken, 2 million gallons of milk, 10 million pounds of dried fruit and 67 million eggs that never arrived and went to waste instead.
