@ursulagray.bsky.social made me the most incredible scene break in the world for Goblin Girl. my 14yo says I should get it tattooed and she is correct

It is incredibly cute and drawn by Ursula Gray. The text reads: When she finished catching her breath and calming her heart, Gertrude brushed what dirt she could from her clothing and continued to school. Past closed doors, locked shutters, and neighbours content to look the other way. Another normal morning for the only goblin in Pinnec Hill. * Miss Seraphina paced the front of the cramped schoolhouse, her long dress sweeping the floor behind her. She read from an open textbook while Gertrude slunk into the classroom with her face and hair still damp from trough water. Clutching her bag, Gertrude hurried to her seat at the back of the room and sat next to Frida. "Gertrude," Miss Seraphina said, "late and filthy for the third time this week. Do you have yet another excuse prepared?"

So like, artists, this is super helpful. You buy it once and then you can just use it forever. Also IT INCLUDES A PART ABOUT AI USAGE AND AI TRAINING which you *definitely* want to protect yourself against. I can't scream it loud enough – YOU WANT THIS TEMPLATE.

I strongly encourage readers of indie queer and especially trans books to start using itchio as more of us authors move away from Amazon. Authors get a bigger cut, you can tip, and, most importantly, you will actually own your ebooks instead of just licensing them from Amazon.
