Forgot to say: in the #Boro presser the boss was asked what he'd changed tactically at HT & gave a really detailed, technical answer (the lads will no doubt write it up tomorrow). So refreshing when coaches (usually foreign) actually explain. Carrick/Edwards it'd be: "we changed it a bit." #UTB

FT: New gaffer starts with a hard-fought, well deserved 2-1 win. #Boro leaked early & looked fragile in a jittery first 20 but fought back, fast and furious up front, lots of movement (& mistakes) but grit, spirit and industry in spades. Clawed the goals out. Excellent stuff. #UTB

Positives: #Boro came storming from behind against the Real Madrid of the Championship and had them on the rack. Some slick passing, very attacking, Hansen added pace and fats footwork, McGree & Whittaker bright. Decent in a lot of areas.
