finished my first run on BIRDCAGE, and absolutely loved it. as a lifelong fan of treasure (pour one out) and their games, it feels laser focused on my tastes. it's brimming with confidence and just such a satisfying game to play through. my favorite indie game of the year by a healthy margin.

and it's still in testing but deadlock's cast deserves a lot of praise. very diverse, cool and stylish, and FUN. the best set of characters in a multiplayer game in ages and they're immediately memorable and endearing. you'll see fanart of them for years in the same vein as TF2 or overwatch 1
