In the case of monthly books I mostly chalk it up to rotating artists so it’s just easier to name the writer in shorthand

but yeah generally most people just list the writer and unless you’re a household name, artists getting the same level of recognition is very rare unfortunately

I don’t even think team fights are an issue conceptually. Gundam is excellent for example and shows it’d be great if done well

They just haven’t made the bones of the game good. I don’t get it
