I was very proud of myself for building an interchange with roundabouts in Cities: Skylines, and then a splitting freeway! Very cool! Then I zoomed out.

14. The Materialists (2025)
I don’t know if I liked this. It has a lot in common with Song’s last film Past Lives and I liked those things, but I really hate the protagonist of this film. She’s awful and I have a hard time getting past that or wanting good things for her. Both men should have RUN.

Victory! I successfully roasted a chicken! I didn’t do the best trussing job, and the wings popped out during cooking so I didn’t tuck those under properly, but that aside, the chicken tasted amazing! I will definitely be doing this again.

Worth it. The minestrone was excellent, and I’ll sleep really well tonight after all this. I gave myself two weeks to recover, so this is day 1 of post-chemo Emi and it was a success!
