I have to buy a bunch of LED bulbs because the replacements supplied by my apartment are the ugliest white light possible. Usually daylight balanced bulbs are too bright, but these resemble the dim fluorescent lighting of an old office. 😩

look... the entity has banned 37 intl aid orgs from operating in Gaza. as the post explains, since these orgs distribute a lot of food, the population will remain at severe food insecurity.
it's all the more important to support mutual aid orgs like Sameer now, as they do their own food distros.

1000 days ago we woke up to my then 3 year old asking me if I could turn that horrible sound (of gunshots and explosions) off, because it’s scary. My heart goes out to everyone, especially those parenting while surviving this war in Sudan and elsewhere. May it all end inshallah. Everywhere.
