Local 150 members attended as part of the Break the Bonds coalition alongside Jewish Voice for Peace, PalYouth NC, Muslims for Social Justice, and Durham Educators for Abolition and Liberation.

Settling these strong contracts is a great win for both locals. But the most significant win came from the inter-local unity that put an end to months of aggressive union busting by LDRM.

One major reason: the USMCA failed to add the provisions needed to prevent corporations from shipping good-paying jobs to Mexico to take advantage of ongoing labor rights violations, lax pollution controls, and abysmally low wages. (4/4)
