the reason old CRT TVs had so many vents in the back was because it let you smell what was going onscreen at the time. basically no one properly programed their broadcasts or movies though so it was always just the default smell (old burnt dust)

Booo they removed my Goodreads Librarian Status. Maybe another reason to switch fully to Storygraph next year.
I've kept a 1:1 log of books this year (140 so far) on Goodreads and Storygraph, and while SG has some issues, at least it's not owned by Amazon.
