I am the author of Eye Cutter, Tales of Unspeakable Taste and others.
I just tried it, myself, and he's right. I can't explain it.

Me, too, buddy. Me, too.

The Best Comic Book of the Week is GI Joe #16. I love the Dreadnok War so far. Next issue is the finale. Also, due to my schedule changing (again) at work, I probably won't be getting new comics again until Mondays. Not ideal, but that's what I've got.

This is my favorite segment of Fantasia. I have literally watched it hundreds of times over the course of my life, usually on a VHS my grandma got me when I was a kid. I have never, not once, considered this guy a villain. I thought he was pretty rad. (And he has a name?!)

Cheese Horse is majestic. Big Guy is kind of blah. But Bill Bites? I've never seen someone so pleased to be devoured.

*GASP!*
@tusitalabruni.bsky.social What if John Holmes was descended from Sherlock Holmes?

How cold is it at work? This cold.

Holy shit. This sounds like it's right up my alley. I might have a new favorite board game. If I was still writing Goodnight, Fuckers, this would be tomorrow's topic.

I just finished reading Steel Beach, and I learned John Varley just died. This happens often to me. Here are a few examples: Robert Bloch, Richard Matheson, Ray Bradbury. The next book I'm reading is by George RR Martin.

It doesn't happen *that* often. He'll be fine. Probably.

Like that time I was at Starved Rock.

It's been a while since I did this, but I've lacked money and time lately, but I finally got through them all, and the Best Comic Book of the, Oh, Last Month or So I Guess is Criminal #1. There's an RPG in the back! It sounds fun despite the typos. I can't wait for the show!

One of his best.
Thought it’d be cool (because that’s the kind of nerd I am) to reread some Jim Thompson while on long train rides in Spain, so I did. Now I’m finishing it while smoking under a tree in California (roughly 100 miles from where Jim died). Love when a book travels with me like that.

I'd guess I've spent 3.8% of my life trying to get food out from between my teeth and completely missing it.

The ending of Escape From LA can't get here fast enough.

There's a container of shredded cheese in the fridge at work. It's about as big as my chest. It's taking everything I've got to not steal it.

I miss the pre-internet world. I wonder if this is how Grandma felt about TV. She used to talk about her family gathering around the radio to listen to shows like Fibber McGee and Molly and The Shadow. She told me about being terrified by an episode of The Hermit's Cave.

No, I'm not going to start writing Grinch porn. There's already plenty of that, anyway. When I write smut, I'm usually trying to fill in the gaps in Rule 34.

This card makes him look like the kind of guy who would sink himself in a Port-a-Potty with an air tank, waiting for someone to sit down.

From the look on his face, I suspect he might be smelling something else.
