Main issue I have with my OCs is that ALL of them have nothing to do with my personal project, they’re just isolated brainworms.
Which is FINE but it splits what I direct my creativity into. My OCs tend to be easier to work on, so I end up drawing them instead of writing.
Just makes things harder.

I need to normalize self-indulgence when drawing more.
Draw the same character multiple times. Take projects at my own pace. Loosen up.
Trying to appeal to other people with big illustrated pieces isn’t as rewarding as I thought it’d be, plus I’ve yet to have an audience to appeal to anyway.
