The East LA level in Tony Hawk's American Sk8land has an elaborate secret involving an invisible rail that clips you through geometry to an out-of-bounds section of the map, revealing a message telling you to hide in the bushes in the Beverly Hills map.

let it be said: you cannot make an entire cultural ecosystem out of friendships and connections. the more money enters into the picture, the more things have to become formalized. a lot of people refuse to accept this idea and still think of themselves as small. this has caused a lot of problems

The orchard in the Mother & Baby Home where I was born has been abandoned since the 90s but still bears fruit, which, abandoned, falls to the ground and rots. The nuns' beloved greenhouse is wrecked but still has dessicated grapes hanging there. If I was a novelist I would find a metaphor here.
