every trans person i see post about the OU suspension knows that the suspended target is trans & a grad student, & has an innate awareness that this is about purging trans employees. every cis person i see thinks the target is a rando professor & that this is about giving conservatives good grades

A cis man doesn't see that as front and center as the issue because he's cis and has not faced this kind of targeted anti-trans harassment at work.

You are right. I don't buy what you're selling. This is nonsense, apologizing for harassment of trans people by Bible thumpers. This victim blaming is part of the problem.

What it misses is that Jeffries is busy coming up with slogans while he is telling his members not to take action.
The problem is the lack of action. And keeping busy with slogans now is an error.

The problem with that slogan right now, however, is that it reads as tone deaf while everything is collapsing around us and those in charge are looting, cheating, and destroying everything. I'm no political strategist, but it feels like messaging should reflect that first.
