I'm an old new author of gutsy crime fiction. Still doing social, but caught in a web of tales depicting the darker side of life. 🇨🇦 🌻

I think I'm getting excited. It's sad to not to be able to go to Killer Nashville, meet up and make new author friends and pitch to agents and editors. But I will always have this as a memento:

“I’ll lower grocery prices on day one.”

“No new foreign entanglements.”

Lies. All lies.

Regime change in Iraq, Afghanistan, & Libya killed millions of innocent people—all for oil.

Trump admits his goal is to take over Venezuela to control their oil. 40 people have already died in Trump’s bombings, and if he isn’t stop that number will skyrocket.

This is why I fear for Venezuela.

In each regime change, U.S. media showed images of locals celebrating as a means to justify the change. Yet each ended in tragedy.

Violent regime change does not work. It never has. Why not? Because it is driven by oil and profit—not people and principles.

I'm not surprised. There are young people who spend 6 hrs a day listening to podcasts that tell them what to think. AI acts in similar ways. Creativity needs time for imagination.
We all knew it. Now there’s scientific proof showing AI decreasing creativity, etc.

Keep in mind that this serial liar also promised a hundred times during the campaign that he would be able to end the war “in 24 hours” with “one phone call” to Putin because he has “a great relationship” with him, “knows just what to say to him,” & “it won’t even be that hard.”

Reading opens the mind and empowers it

We live in capitalism. Its power seems inescapable. So did the divine right of kings. Any human power can be resisted and changed by human beings. Resistance and change often begin in art, and very often in our art the art of words. - Ursula K. Le Guin

Does that sound familiar?
