Great to see @uwofa1.bsky.social leading on this. #COVIDisAirborne and #longCOVID are hugely important workplace safety issues, and we need more unions to speak out about it.

Enough is enough.
The @uwofa1 - University of Western Ontario Faculty Association - is quickly becoming a leader in post-secondary education messaging about the equity implications and importance of masking as an integral layer of C19 and flu mitigation.

Let’s show them some love, folks!

When governments can win power with 30% to 40% of the vote, long term planning suffers. Big promises get torn up after every election.

Proportional representation rewards policies that can survive change because they are backed by a real majority.

On this rainy Sunday please take only a moment and ask Toronto’s Board of Health to ensure schools and child cares have clean indoor air by adopting Health Canada’s new IAQ guidance.

We HAVE the tools to reduce illness and all the harsh outcomes (including financial costs!!) connected to it.
Clean air for kids & staff in schools & daycares shouldn’t be controversial

No IAQ policy at any level of govt ensuring indoor air is clean & safe to breathe atm

Sick and tired?

Influenza test positivity is very high in Ontario and remains the highest in children (5-11 yrs) at 73.3% and adolescents (12-19 yrs) at 67.3%. COVID-19 and RSV are also circulating.

These viruses are airborne: we get sick by breathing them in!

But it doesn't have to be this way!
