1. More Americans work at the Cheesecake Factory than in the entire coal industry, and that won't change. It's because of automation, not snooty libs.

2. Coal energy is now more expensive than wind and solar.

3. So this means: higher energy prices, more pollution, no jobs benefit. Genius!
Energy Secretary Chris Wright on Fox: "We're announcing today expanded programs to help the American coal industry. We're helping it because for years it has been under assault. It was out of fashion with the chardonnay set in San Francisco, Boulder, and NYC ... coal just makes the world go round."

In a stunning violation of OPSEC, we’ll be announcing to our adversaries when and where all of our top military leaders will be. Doesn’t seem Pete learned much from Signalgate.

His incompetence is staggering.

Priztker: if federal agents fired upon journalists and protesters, when unprovoked, what would we call it?

I don't think we'd have any trouble calling it what it is. Authoritarianism.

So let's not pretend it's something else when it happens in our American cities.

It certainly appears the United States murdered an innocent fisherman who was a husband and father to four children, claimed he was a "narco-terrorist," posted a video of the execution, and then made jokes about it

This has nothing to do with the law - it is revenge. We know that is because Trump’s own appointed US Attorney just resigned because he refused to make a mockery of justice. So they brought in Trump’s hack personal attorney to do it. This is about abuse of power by Trump & Bondi.

It’s wild to me that the Pentagon is just… fine with reporting that most of our senior military are going to be in the same location.

You know who I hear is a great lawyer and who has never been charged with a crime? @hillaryclinton.bsky.social... you should call her and see how that one goes.

Garcia on Tom Homan: Yet he is somehow possibly taking a $50,000 bribe to steer contracts—while at the same time trying to deport everybody else. I think a few folks have said it, but it bears repeating: he should be self-deporting himself.

Forty special elections across the country since November 2024 and average margin of Democratic over-performance is 15 points. In 2017 the Dem over-performance was 10 points. And in 2022 there was no Dem over-performance in specials. This is huge headed into next year's midterms.

Adelita Grijalva’s victory in a special election for a House seat in Arizona appears to give backers of a so-called discharge petition enough signatures to compel action.
