Very interpretive, very cruel. But holy cow this is the kind of bizarre crazy artistry I loooved seeing from film festivals. Makes me feel like a kid who cannot understand a world that feels so foreign to me. epic.

i think i *might* have spotted one other oct in late 2018/early 2019 but i cannot remember specifics beyond it having 64 contestants and a maze i think

i like seeing the common threads of pumpkin characters and characters with wings LOL

big ones are hair and cloth folds/wrinkles. i find it tricky to suggest these volumes, and generally i want to be more confident rather than doing random lines hoping they work.

less pressing is drawing the far angles of the face in 3/4 view to make sure things look 3 dimensional
