Very interpretive, very cruel. But holy cow this is the kind of bizarre crazy artistry I loooved seeing from film festivals. Makes me feel like a kid who cannot understand a world that feels so foreign to me. epic.

finally caught up to the latest mha episode...
man its so surreal to see a fight I've been anticipating since I was 15 reach its conclusion. I've had ups and downs with MHA but there will always be a special place in my heart towards Horikoshi's characters as they grew up with me

My planning and progress shots of this piece. Honestly this life drawing course has helped me a lot when it came to finding new ways to draw the human form (negative space for the win!)
I also feel like I managed to get some of the subtler angles and details like the face in the pencil drawing.

I used this technique of breaking some curves into straight lines.
Whilst it definitely helped me understand forms easier it makes figures feel far less organic
