I feel like having sex with and later marrying your partner’s adopted daughter also goes a long way toward assuming, in good faith, that the allegations are true.
its so depressing that the allegations against Allen are framed in the press as "the controversial controversy over the impossible to prove who-can-say allegations that Woody Allen is a pedophile" then his actual movies are like THE PEDOPHILE CHRONICLES: A TRUE STORY FROM MY REAL LIFE AS A PEDOPHILE
So I guess there are multiple teens that Mariel Hemingway's character in Manhattan could be based on

You probably can’t use “decimated” when referring to a count of opinions, but 42 to 36 is a 14% reduction, so it would otherwise fit.

Also, it is certainly an editorial choice to use “even if some people aren’t happy” to describe a supermajority of those polled disapproving.
lol wut. dropping from 42 percent approval to 36 percent approval seems pretty significant. apnews.com/article/trum...

I just got around to reading this, and while I think you can quibble with his specific number, I think his overall point is right, which is: the price to participate in the economy has gone up by several multiples of inflation, and the social safety net hasn’t come close to keeping pace.
The U.S. poverty line for a family of four is $32,150.

However, investor Michael W. Green argues it should be more than four times higher, a threshold that would classify most American households as living “in poverty” by his measure.
An investor called $140,000 the new poverty line. Experts disagreed but said he had a point.
Michael Green’s tally of the costs of raising a family in the U.S. today is going viral, even if some economists scoff at his math.

The model effects in ALIENS are so effective you don't realise that they're using puppets in the final boss fight on the Sulaco. It's so well done, will pitch perfect lighting that marries the marionettes with the full-size action superbly.

These physical effects are a testament to talent.

Is Silver Linings Playbook a Thanksgiving movie? I’m pretty sure it ends on Christmas, but it’s full of football, Fall, and family drama, with a bunch of scenes where everyone come back to mom and dad’s house for a meal. Pretty sure it qualifies.
