Listen Kaine, Hassan, King, Cortez-Masto, Durbin, Shaheen, Rosen, and Fetterman. You're NOT gonna take away my 2025 election joy. We voted in that election for folks to FIGHT for us. That doesn't include YOU.

YOU are what we voted AGAINST last Tuesday. So I'm gonna hang on to that.

Since 2020, I have been fighting for mail-in voting and the GOP has been fighting against it. A critical court case is now going before the U.S. Supreme Court. I can assure you that I will be there fighting hard to ensure every lawful ballot counts.

Extremely niche hot take: the nation's pre-eminent newspaper needs to rethink publishing pieces on sartorial choices of politicians. What a waste of ... newsprint? screen real estate?

But seriously, I couldn't care less about party-aligned neckties or whatever. I do care about what they do.

I’m so proud of my daughter in Seattle.

She doesn’t have much money (she’s a preschool teacher with a preschooler of her own) but she has a big bag of Costco flour — so she’s baking sourdough bread and cinnamon rolls every week for people in her neighborhood who are furloughed or lost SNAP…

Please don’t think this beltway game of having retiring Dem senators vote yes while everyone else votes no is going to shield leadership from the end result. We see what is happening and can’t be fooled by those games.

As Trumpedo mulls over whether he really wants to try to claw back SNAP monies, and whether he wants Johnson to keep the House out, even though the Senate wants to move forward with reconvening efforts of Congress, let's not lose focus on how we're going to help 42 million neighbors eat.🙂

One aspect of Dementia Don that I don’t see much discussed is the anger aspect. Patients either seem to turn inward or lash out. My husband’s grandfather was a powerful businessman…in the early stages the disease angered him as he saw his power wane and continued to worsen as time went by

We were told Senate Dems needed to be laser focused on making the shutdown about ACA healthcare subsidies and not ask for too much else so that they could demonstrate how they were measured and serious. Voting to reopen without funding to provide an ACA solution clearly betrays even this low bar.

I'm still skeptical about this Congress returning to work, thingy. However, if so, then the 9 traitors (including schumer) are trading 50,000 needless deaths each year for a shot at releasing the Epstein Files. 🙂

Two-thirds of California's power comes from clean energy.

For 9 in 10 days so far this year, we were 100% powered for some part of the day by clean energy.

The Golden State has become the world's fourth-largest economy because of our climate leadership, not in spite of it.
