Today is World AIDS Day. We have come a long way since the horrors of the 1980s, which triggered a wave of homophobia which has its echoes today.

HIV is now routinely treatable and for the first time there is the prospect of a world without AIDS too. (1/2)

Wohoo! Now @signal.org has released its new backup feature, I'm moving our family group chats to it from WhatsApp!

My de-Metafication is continuing. Realistically, I'll not get rid of WhatsApp for a while, but I will continue to encourage people I talk to a lot to move.

Unsurprisingly the title of this article is about asylum seekers and not taxi firms ripping off the taxpayer.

And this is why the government should have removed the two-child benefit cap the moment they entered office. Behind every percentage point increase from last July to now are thousands of struggling families. That's on Labour.
This is why it mattered.
