Five years ago today, Rivers Cuomo launched the initial version of his demo store at Riverscuomo.com.
At first, Rivers put up about 500 songs, for sale to one user each (I managed to snag 28 tunes). But a week later, he changed the store to sell bundles centered around each album (or era)...
