yeah like I can get my hormones for free, sorta, but what is and is not covered by the fair pharmacare program is all over the place, I'm planning to switch to injections, finally found an endo that'll prescribe, but I may have to pay for them because they're not covered

the only advantage is that some stuff here is covered by government programs but it's *still* an insurer-based system, the government expects employers to cover most medical care

I've become used to americans just assuming canada is an easily accessible safe haven but upsettingly this one was polish and specifically cited favourable immigration conditions

but none of these systems are things that are accessible to most immigrants anyway, hell my wife and I are already in debt because the state considers MY disability payments support paid out to HER which I as her sponsor need to repay
