He’s confused a lot. He sometimes mumbles sort of incoherent nonsense when he’s asked a question in the Oval Office.

Got to love how much praise NYT gets for one article, 2+ years late, that literally just rehashes things we all knew already but NYT has spent the last 2 years ignoring & denying & obfuscating.

No idea why an Afghan refugee shot National Guard soldiers within walking distance of the White House, but this new USCIS directive was revealed on Monday. Worth noting.
The folks at @afghanevac.bsky.social have in hand a new USCIS directive which largely targets Afghan refugees who fled the Taliban in the wake of the U.S. withdrawal in 2021.

MAGA is stunned into silence as officials confirm the National Guard shooter, Rahmanullah Lakanwal, entered the U.S. in 2021 and was vetted and granted LEGAL ASYLUM by the TRUMP ADMINISTRATION in April 2025.

Their entire narrative just collapsed.

The FBI redirected lots of agents to work on deporting people who came to the U.S. illegally, but who were not involved in separate criminal activity.

Perhaps if they'd been working on terrorism and violence cases, the two National Guard agents would not have been shot.

100 percent. What a waste, on so many levels.
Whether this was random street crime or targeted political violence, I think it was bad for the president to unnecessarily put the National Guard in harm’s way like this. They simply don’t need to be there.
