Actual Dubai chocolate is fucking horrible because it’s formulated to not melt in the heat so basically has no flavour. The sweet fried kunefa and pistachio cream is all you taste. That made in the UK is much nicer as you can actually taste the chocolate as well. But it’s still merely ‘okay’.

Speaking to the designer yesterday (who also did the Emira, fact fans), removing the line was one key decision in making it more like its own car rather than an homage/pastiche. I’d maybe have a stripe down the side that doesn’t go over the arches. A nod, rather than a copy. 🤔
