I’m no mechanical engineer, but I don’t think putting bends in a tube that is designed to take impact from above is a good idea. Oh wait, I am a mechanical engineer. That cage is horseshit.

An Esprit V8 stripped back to its essentials, 3.5 litre twin turbo V8 rebuilt to 400hp/475Nm, gearbox rebuilt and strengthened.
An utterly gorgeous carbon fibre body is used, styled like the original Giugiaro concept car, to enable a sub-1200kg weight
