One day, we're going to wake up and find out the whole world is a simulation, and the operator is going to be like "Bro I named a guy BRAD BRADFORD how did you not pick up on this"

This means - and this is VITAL - making it a musical, and including a stage-trained singer as one of the Human characters.

I'm so sorry. There's no excusing this behaviour, and I hate that people in general are just feeling more cruel lately. It's not acceptable, and we need to do better as a species.

You don't "compensate" for not having Oscar Wilde's wit. You don't simulate a personality.

Connection comes from being curious about another person, a willingness to learn, as my semi-romantic partner did, with tools at your disposal, and by celebrating when you have mutual understanding.

Did I embarrass her? No. I told her it was incredibly sweet to engage with me in puns, and it was fine to search to do that.

Why is this different?

Because it was highly personal to us. It was creating shared joy.

Musk is about shortcuts past human connection. He has no idea how humans function.

Games I would bet do better:
- Baldur's Gate 3
- Last of Us 2
- Subnautica Below Zero
- Life is Strange

Council has been gutting sevices like crazy over their fetishization of keeping property taxes low, and every single one of those cuts doesn't even add up to HALF of the VicPD budget increase.

Which number is bigger, Victoria?

$11,000,000 in NEW FUNDING (for a total of $89,850,000)
or
$485,000, no increase in funding (and forcing people to pay to not have their bike stolen, so you can save $72,000)

Someone please help budget this my city is dying
