Had either Skydance or Comcast got chosen over Netflix, you would have seen a wider elimination of employees, studio units, and networks. Skydance would have been the worst because they would have completely shut down HBO and HBO Max in addition to implement an Administration-pleasing doctrine.

Warner Bros, in all its flailing incarnations and buyouts, is up there with General Electric and RCA in the "Great American Corporate Bed Shittings" annals and will be studied for centuries to come. But it's JUST a corporate entity. The priority should be preserving the great art the came from it.

Yeah as shitty as mergers are, Netflix is the better company in this situation here given how really full of crap Paramount is along with WB. It’s a losing situation for WB with or without any merger/buyout.
